China Kingho Inner Mongolia News (Pan Youjun) On July 30, the Inauguration Ceremony for Inner Mongolia Alashan Hi-Tech Research Institute was held in Inner Mongolia Kingho Group. 
    Bai Xiangqun, Vice Chairman of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Li Bingrong, Director of Inner Mongolia Science and Technology Department, Feng Yuzhen, Deputy Secretary of CPC Committee and Director of Alashan League, and Zhou Xiushan, General Manager and Secretary of CPC Committee unveiled the nameplate of Alashan Hi-Tech Research Institute. 
    Jiang Hua, Deputy Secretary-General of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Hou Yuan, Director of Inner Mongolian Education Department, Lan Enhua, Inner Mongolian Civil Affairs Department, Wu Weidong, Deputy Director of Inner Mongolian Human Resources and Social Security Department, Wang Jinbao, Deputy Inspector of Inner Mongolian Development and Reform Commission, Bao Yude, Director of ESO Department of Inner Mongolian Finance Department, Cao Zhichen, Vice Mayor of Ordos, Hao Jianjun, Vice Mayor of Wuhai, and Zhao Hongyan, Deputy Director of Alashan League attended the ceremony. 
    At the opening ceremony, Mr. Zhou Xiushan, General Manager of Inner Mongolia Kingho Group delivered a welcome speech. He said that the ceremony was a grand event concerning the work and living of Inner Mongolia Kingho Group and fully reflected high attention of all levels of governments in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to the science and technology development in a new era as well as their trust to Kingho Group. The establishment of this platform marks a substantial step of Alashan League in implementing scientific outlook on development and improving the ability of independent innovation and also makes relevant technological researches of Inner Mongolia Kingho Group, which is based on fine chemicals hi-tech incubation park, enter a new stage of development. In the future, around transformation and upgrading of the key industries of Alashan, the Group will introduce and digest the high and new technologies in a full range of fields, actively increase research investment and actively develop scientific and technological innovation centered strategic emerging industries and high-tech industries, transfer scientific and technological achievements in situ, become a booster of the economic development of Alashan and better serve Alashan and Inner Mongolia.
    Mr. Feng Yuzhen expressed congratulations on the inauguration of the institute. He pointed out that the establishment of the institute is an important move of Alashan League to thoroughly implement the “8337” development idea of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and is bound to strongly promote the sound and rapid development of Alashan and inject new vitality. Alashan League will endeavor to expedite the construction of the research institute, increase investment, improve support services, actively explore the establishment of an enterprise-led system featuring government’s support, research institutes and experts’ involvement and a combination among production, study and research, give full play to the advantages of research institute, constantly develop fine chemical and other related industries through technological innovation and achievement transformation, practically transform resource advantages to industrial advantages, and make a positive contribution for the sustainable, healthy and rapid economic and social development of Alashan League. 
    In his speech, Mr. Li Bingrong mentioned that Alashan has achieved quite rapid development in such industries as firecrackers chemicals, fine chemicals and MTO and the establishment of Alashan Hi-Tech Research Institute will provide strong scientific and technological support for the development of these industries. He said that Alashan will take full advantages of this platform to speed up industrial restructuring and promote the sound and rapid development of regional economy, based on the mode featuring a combination among production, study and research and supported by technological innovation and independent innovation. 

    After the ceremony, Mr. Bai Xiangqun visited the central control room in the Group’s Fine Chemical Industry Park. There, he got a detailed understanding of project construction situation and debriefed an introduction on the production process after project completion. Bai said that the construction of fine chemical project plays an important role in coal chemical enterprise’s industrial organization adjustment and acceleration of economic transformation. During production process, enterprises should further improve management level, reduce operating costs, constantly increase investment in scientific and technological R&D and reserve a number of good projects featuring high technological content and high value added for the future corporate development so as to boost the steady and rapid regional economic development, he said.
