China Kingho Xinjiang News (Shao Pei, Ma Kexun) On August 20, a ceremony for the Completion and Commissioning of Phase I, Xinjiang Kingho 5.5b m3/a SNG Project was held in Xinjiang Yining Kingho SNG Park. Nur Bekri, Deputy Secretary of CPC Committee of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, Kuresh Mehsutka, Vice Chairman of CPC Committee of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, Shi Yubo, a Member of Party Leadership Group and Deputy Head of National Energy Administration, Huang Sanping, Secretary of CPC Committee of Yili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture, and Huo Qinghua, Chairman of China Kingho Group attended the ceremony. The attendees also included relevant department heads of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region People’s Government, relevant heads of Yili CPC Committee, Government and Departments, representatives from PetroChina and each financing unit, representatives from engineering design, supervision and construction units, leaders of China Kingho Group and media reporters. 
    At the ceremony, Mr. Kuresh Mehsutka expressed heartfelt congratulations on the completion and commissioning of Phase I. He said that the project was the first SNG project that has been completed and commissioned in Xinjiang and a grant event in the energy development history of Xingjiang and its commissioning was significant to boost the efficient and clean utilization of coal resources, accelerate the conversion of coal resource superiority and speed up the progress of new industrialization in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. He also noted that Kingho Group, as a large domestic private enterprise, has been conscientiously implementing the decisions and deployments of the CPC Committee and People’s Government of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region and conducted a lot of fruitful work for the rapid development of the projects in Xinjiang, especially in aspects of solving employment problems and improving people’s livelihood. He hoped that Kingho Group could firmly establish the concept of “ecological development and environmental protection first”, take the opportunity of the completion and commissioning of Phase I, SNG Natural Gas Project, continue to give full play to human resources, capital and technology advantages and further accelerate the construction of the projects in Xinjiang. He said that the CPC Committee and People’s Government of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region will continue to support the investment and development of Kingho Group in Xinjiang. According to Kuresh, relevant departments of Yili Prefecture and the autonomous region should further enhance the sense of responsibility and sense of service, practice Xinjiang Efficiency, actively help the company to coordinate and solve the difficulties and problems in the commissioning process of SNG Project, provide it with a strong service support and make new greater contributions to boost the leap-forward development and long-term stability of the economic society of the autonomous region.
    Xu Zhong, General Manager of Xinjiang Kingho Group introduced the construction status of SNG Project and expressed a warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to the present leaders and guests. He said that the completion and commissioning of Phase I, Kinghu SNG Project can not be completed without the high concern and energetic drive of the CPC Committee of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, the proper leadership and energetic support of national energy authorities, the enthusiastic help of PetroChina, China Development Bank and other financial institutions and all sectors of the society, and the hard work of all builders. Especially since the Xinjiang Work Conference by the Central Committee of CPC, Xinjiang Kingho has been strictly following the development requirement of “sustainable resource development and sustainable ecological environment”. Under the personal urge by Zhang Chunxian, Secretary of CPC Committee, and Nur Bekri, Chairman of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region as well as the energetic support by Key Industries Office and other related agencies headed by Vice Chairman Kuresh Mehsutka, such problems as coal resources allocation and natural gas network access were solved in succession and such policies on SNG network access price and tax preference were implemented, completely dispelling the company’s worries and significantly enhancing Kingho’s confidence and determination to have a big plan and do great and pragmatic things in Xinjiang. 
    The smooth commissioning of Phase I, Kingho’s SNG Project means a successful commencement for Kingho Group to practice clean development and green energy. Xinjiang Kingho will further increase investment, strengthen scientific and technological innovation, pay more attention to energy conservation, emission reduction and ecological civilization construction, make efforts to develop recycling economy and extend the industrial chain. On the basis of the successful operation of Phase I, the company will accelerate construction of Phase II so as to successfully complete the state-approved coal deep processing demonstration mission, make it become a name card of new industrial development of the entire Xinjiang and even the country and make greater contribution for the leapfrog development of the autonomous region and national energy security.
    After the ceremony, the present leaders and guests visited Kingho’s greenhouse gas emissions reduction laboratory and Kingho Quality Based Coal Comprehensive Utilization Poly-Generation Project Construction Site in Yining Sura Palace Industry Park.
